Here's a glimpse of our Thanksgiving this year.
We kept the group very small, with family members with whom we've been quarantining.
We did not have our full family crew with us, which was hard but we managed to get into the holiday season nonetheless.
It helped to be able to virtually connect with the family members who were not at the Thanksgiving dinner table with us.
We made the traditional Thanksgiving meal replete with cranberry sauce, Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, butternut squash, and we had lots of greens (rainbow swiss chard) on the side.
Following dinner, we had dessert of homemade apple pie (including the crust) and pumpkin mousse (because my husband loves pumpkin chiffon pie) and this was my husband's first time making the mousse. It was delicious.
