I tried a baked apple recipe that needs only three ingredients! Try out this healthy and delicious recipe and let me know what you think. If you're wondering what to do with apples that are going bad and you don't want food waste, then this apple recipe is perfect!

This baked apple recipe could not be easier! All you need is apple slices, cinnamon, and butter.

I sprinkled walnuts on it afterward but you could just as easily bake the walnuts. You could also add honey for extra sweetness if you don't mind the spike in glycogen. Honestly, I thought the natural sweetness from the apples was just the right amount of sweet.

Enjoy this recipe on its own or add it to yogurt or oatmeal to jazz up those foods!
