This vlog shows the day before I start my 3-day (72-hour) water fast. This is part one of a series of videos about my second water fast I've done thus far. I'll be doing it alongside my husband, Greg, who is doing a 5-day water fast! Eventually I'd like to work my way up to a 5-day fast, but let's first see how this one goes! Come along for the crazy and wild fasting ride :)
Note: I've been practicing daily time-restricted feeding (TRF) also known as time-restricted eating (TRE) for the last three or four years, and now I'm getting more interested in water fasting for the health benefits (mind, body, and spirit!).

If water fasting or any type of fasting (time-restricted eating, alternate day fasting, OMAD, intermittent fasting, prolonged fasting, fast-mimicking, etc.) piques your interest my recommendation is to:
- educate yourself using primary sources (i.e., Dr. Rhonda Patrick and Dr. Peter Attia)
- consult your doctor or medical practitioner to do this in a SAFE way
- remind yourself of your WHY as you're fasting :)
Note that people who have VERY LOW body fat/BMI are not recommended to do this as are people who have struggled with disordered eating.
